Platform Partners

The Hue Logan Foundation is an independent nonprofit, supported through collaboration with aligned platforms and initiatives. Each partner operates independently while contributing to our shared mission of supporting artists and preserving creative culture.

Q the Music

Q the Music

Independent Music Streaming Platform

Q the Music is an independent music streaming platform co-founded by Logan to support artists fairly. Unlike mainstream platforms, Q the Music puts creators first—paying higher royalties and giving artists control over their work.

A Shared Mission

Logan co-founded Q the Music with a vision: to create a platform where artists are valued and fairly compensated. This mission aligns perfectly with the foundation's goal of supporting creatives who need it most.

5% of all revenue from Q the Music automatically supports the Hue Logan Foundation—ensuring Logan's vision lives on through every stream, podcast download, and piece of merch sold.

This sustainable revenue stream funds artist grants, school programs, and emergency support for creatives in need, directly fulfilling the mission Logan helped build.

Why It Matters

  • Fair Pay for Artists: Q the Music pays artists significantly more per stream than mainstream platforms
  • Community-Driven: Built by artists, for artists—not corporate shareholders
  • Direct Impact: Every stream supports both the artist AND the foundation's mission
  • Logan's Legacy: Continuing the work Logan started—supporting artists and building community

Independent Organizations: Q the Music operates as an independent platform. While it contributes 5% of revenue to support the foundation, it is not owned or controlled by the Hue Logan Foundation. Both entities work collaboratively toward shared goals while maintaining separate operations.

HUE Media is an independent streaming platform celebrating authentic Hmong and Asian American stories. The Hue Logan Foundation produces original content that is exclusively licensed to HUE Media for distribution to audiences worldwide.

The Partnership

  • Content Production: The foundation produces original series like Chaotic Good, handling the full production process—from talent acquisition and pre-production to filming and post-production
  • Exclusive Licensing: Completed content is licensed exclusively to HUE Media for streaming on their platform
  • Talent Showcase: Foundation-supported artists and creatives are featured in our productions, gaining visibility and professional experience
  • Revenue Model: The foundation receives licensing fees from HUE Media, plus annual donations when aligned with their business goals

This model keeps both organizations independent while working toward a shared mission of elevating underrepresented voices.

Independent Organizations: HUE Media operates independently of the Hue Logan Foundation. While both share a commitment to supporting artists and preserving culture, HUE Media's contributions are voluntary and based on their own business decisions.

How Hmong Nouveau Supports the Foundation

  • Event Proceeds: A portion of ticket sales and merchandise from Hmong Nouveau events supports the foundation
  • Artist Spotlights: Provides a platform for emerging artists the foundation supports
  • Cultural Preservation: Keeps Logan's vision alive by celebrating Hmong creativity and innovation

Independent Organizations: Hmong Nouveau is an independent event series. While deeply connected to Logan's legacy, it operates separately from the foundation and contributes through event-based giving.

Windgarden Books is an independent publishing house founded by Stephanie C. Vang (Logan's wife and the foundation's President/CEO). Windgarden publishes diverse voices and stories that might not find a home in traditional publishing.

Where the End Begins

Written by Stephanie C. Vang, Where the End Begins is a poignant memoir that unravels the profound love story between Stephanie and her late husband, Logan. This heartfelt narrative invites readers to explore the enduring bonds of love and the transformative power of healing through remembrance and rediscovery.
